About the facilitator:
Shiri Joshua's background includes a position as a family therapist and a counsellor formally in private practice with specialty in child & adolescent development and pet loss bereavement. Shiri is the founding director of the Canadian Centre for Pet Loss Bereavement (www.petlosssupport.ca) and the Shiri Joshua's Centre for Human & Animal Healing based in Vancouver, BC (www.HumanAnimalHealing.com)
In late 2007, Shiri was visited by an unusual sight: the one of her late pet rabbit, Zoe, standing on her bed!! A voice was then heard directing her to teach as many people as possible about animal wisdom, and "no-death" and the immortality of the soul... Given Shiri's extensive background and training in the respected fields of psychology and psychoanalysis, she spent a year resisting the call... Until it became too loud to ignore.
Over the past 2 years Shir's journey as 'the animals' messenger' has evolved into a beautiful spiritual practice of healing, writing, and speaking on behalf of the animals, to which she is deeply grateful.
